1. Fluoridation is a violation of individual’s right to informed consent! There are huge risks from this dangerous chemical.
2. Fluoride is not an essential nutrient and one of 12 industrial chemicals known to cause developmental neurotoxicity in humans.
3. Hundreds of published research articles written over several decades; issues of cardiovascular, central nervous, digestive, endocrine, immune, integumentary, renal, respiratory, and skeletal systems. Exposure to fluoride has been linked to Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, infertility, and many other adverse health outcomes, including fluoride toxicity.
4. Water fluoridation began in 1940s, and since then an array of products containing fluoride have been added into dental products, pesticides, fluoride supplements, other prescription drugs, and many other sources. There is no accurate estimate of just how much fluoride people are getting from all of these sources. The 2010 data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) or from Cancer Institutes can NOT BE TRUSTED!
5. Their “one dose fits all” is unacceptable. Populations with low body weights, such as infants and children, or those who consume increased amounts of water, such as athletes, military personnel, outdoor laborers, and those with diabetes or kidney dysfunction, can be more intensely effected by fluoride. Fluoride impacts each individual differently based on allergies, nutrient deficiencies, genetic factors, and other variables. A bottle-fed baby in a fluoridated area gets up to 200 times more fluoride than a breast-fed baby.
6. Artificial water fluoridation means exposure to multiple chemicals that produce distinct reactions/interactions. Fluoride added to water supplies attracts lead, found in plumbing pipes; links to higher blood lead levels in children.
7. Does fluoride really even prevent tooth decay? Studies from countries with/without systemic application of fluoridated water have proven for several decades; . the lack of sugar improve dental health. Very small amounts of fluoride help reduce tooth decay when used topically, applied directly onto teeth with a toothbrush, but more risks and damage to our bodies when swallowed and definitely when added to our drinking water or other means in food and pills!
8. Researchers have been censored from publishing the truth regarding the critical tie between phosphate fertilizer and dental industries. There's an urgent need for appropriate amounts and application of fluoride and the medical harm it has caused.
9. Fluoridation discriminates against low incomes; malnourished children and individuals of lower socio-economic status. Fluoride increases the risk of dental issues due to calcium depletion and other circumstances. People on low incomes are least able to afford avoidance measures, reverse osmosis, bottled water, or medical and dental treatment for dental fluorosis and other fluoride-related ailments.
10. Fluoridation poses threats to animals, pets, and wildlife, as well as the environment at large. Animals are exposed to fluoride in the environment through air pollution, water, soil, and food. Even domestic pets are subjects of fluoride exposure, especially through their food and water.
