The Charlie Miranda Experience plays a Tribute to Jimi Hendrix

Including renditions of Hey Joe, Red House, Foxy Lady, Voodoo Chile, and an excerpt of Purple Haze all shot on a beautiful day at Venice Beach. The video is one long camera take while the music is playing and the audio is unretouched, or overdubbed.

I was scheduled for overtime work that Sunday afternoon and went to the beach instead. As I got there, Charlie Miranda was performing and I shot this video. After a little more sun, I ended up going to work anyway, and no one said anything.

This music performance is great and I still love listening to it.
