Mit dem Black Ridge schiebt sich Alpenföhn voran, einen solchen Luftkühlkörper für besonders kompakte Systeme in ihrem Portfolio aufgenommen zu haben. Entstanden ist der Kühler, wie könnte es auch anders sein, in Zusammenarbeit mit Dan Cases.
Doch was ist Black Ridge für ein Gebirge? Alpenföhn orientiert sich ja bei Ihren Namen gerne an Bergen oder Gebirgen. Das „Black Ridge“ ist ein 11 km langer Gebirgszug mit einer Höhe von 1500 Metern am Südpol, also wieder eine nette kalte Gegend.
Die Kühler ist dann passend zu seinem Gebirgs-Namensvetter komplett schwarz Beschichtet, bietet eine Arbeitsspeicheraussparung für bis zu 33 mm, kann einfach montiert werden und verfügt lediglich über eine Gesamthöhe von 47 mm mit 92-mm-Lüfter.
