Pat Buchanan On How To Deal With Riots

Pat was right. He was just about always right. The proper response to riots is this:

"The mob threatened & cursed. But the mob retreated, because it had met the one thing that could stop it: force, rooted in justice & backed by moral courage."

From the 1992 Republican National Convention. Many see his "Culture War" speech as awful and hateful but it was one of the best political speeches in my lifetime. If Pat Buchanan had been President, we would be in a much different and much better place today.
