This is the third in a four part series from The History Channel on the Occult History of The Third Reich. This episode concentrates on the cult of personality around Adolf Hitler and his messianic idolised persona. Hitlers study of metaphysics and world religion as well as the influence from his occult following hench men; led the Nazis into a dark path of magic and occult practice that informed their political policies.

These beliefs held by the Nazis and Adolf Hitler, gave them a decidedly 'magical' objective when it came to taking over the world. This may explain some of the stranger actions undertaken by the Nazis; like the desire for acquiring holy and mystical relics like the Holy Grail and Spear of Destiny; their visits to world wide sites of known super natural and mystical power like Tibet; and their obsession with symbolism and totems of symbolic power.
