Yes, you may have seen the original "High School USA" movie of the week with 60s TV icons teaming with early 80s TV stars teaming up to make this a ratings hit for NBC in 1983. Stars like Dwayne Hickman, Bob Denver, Dawn Wells, and Tony Dow acting as educators to students played by the likes of Michael J. Fox, Crispin Glover, Todd Bridges, and Crystal Bernard. But did you know there was a proposal for a regular TV series? A pilot was ordered and filmed but only broadcasted once! Several actors from the previous TV movie reprised their roles like Glover and Bernard plus we see several cast members from the Golden Age of Television assume roles primarily from "Ozzie and Harriet" and "Leave It To Beaver".
