HULK (2003) 17th ANNIVERSARY REVIEW - REEL FEATURES
PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION
Reel Features Season 14 Ticket 1
It’s been 17 years since the release of Hulk in June of 2003 and considering since his debut, it does lead me to question if time has been kind in the years since and if this movie has aged well over time?
When you take into account that 2000’s X-Men & 2002’s Spider-Man fared extremely well at the Box Office both financially and critically, it was only a matter of time before one of the late Stan Lee’s early creations would be given the big screen treatment having only the Iconic Bill Bixby & Lou Ferrigno series as being the only live action adaptation at that time of the comic book of the same name that debuted in the summer of 1962 about the adventures of Nuclear Physicist, Dr. Robert Bruce Banner, turning into his gamma-powered alter-ego when angered or outraged.
The Hulk has had multiple animated series throughout the years, all of which did a credible job of paying homage to the origin of Banner being exposed to the Gamma Rays that would alter his life forever and turning into the Hulk when he needed to and more often than not against his will.
As the Season 14 Opener for Reel Features, it’s time to dust-off the DVD as we look back at Hulk 2003.
