Hello everybody and welcome to my brand new Let’s Play of Hearts of Iron 4 as the German Reich. This is going to be a historical-ish playthrough as Germany. Well, as historical as any Paradox game can be in the sense that I will be doing the historical World War 2 Germany thing and attacking everyone. Also allying Italy. Because reasons.

This is going to be a largely vanilla playthrough. I have a couple of basic quality of life mods included to help make a few things easier. I am using exactly three mods for this playthrough: Strategic View Adjustments, Colored Puppets and Colored Buttons.

My plan is for this series to run until either the ingame end date is reached or I achieve my designated victory conditions of defeating the Allies. Of course, it goes without saying that the series will also end if I am defeated but hopefully that won’t happen.

As with my previous Kaiserreich series, this HOI4 series will run on Tuesdays and Fridays until it finishes. Due to the fact that I tend to record extremely long videos now and the fact that Hearts of Iron games have a tendency to be a bit on the short side, I don’t anticipate this series lasting very long in the grand scheme of things.
