Costa Rica Protesters, "There is no Pandemic", Ask for the Resignation of President Carlos Alvarado

Protesters say there is no pandemic and ask for the resignation of President Carlos Alvarado

(CRHoy.com). -A group of people demonstrated on the morning of this Monday, July 13, outside the Presidential House in Zapote, demanding that the government take measures in the context of the pandemic. In fact, its main point is that such a pandemic does not exist and that it is all a "montage" to control Costa Ricans.

In different live broadcasts on social networks and photographs that have been circulated, protesters can be heard demanding that Costa Ricans "believe" in the pandemic and follow the instructions of the health authorities. Despite the call for health to stay at home, on the contrary, this group calls for mobilization on the outskirts of Zapote.

Police sources told CRHoy.com that the group is made up of about 25 people and that by 1:00 p.m. they were still on the street and sidewalk. In the photographs you can see the protesters holding signs with messages like "Fuera Alvarado", against the president. A woman with the mask wrongly placed on her neck holds a sign that says: "There is no pandemic."
