My own story of severe PTSD. Hopefully, it will help someone else. I went to Critical Incident Debriefing therapy under Dr. John Garlock's care for a year. I could not talk & was nearly catatonic, if you can believe that! I had to draw pictures like kids do to "talk" about what happened. He passed away earlier this year-rest in peace, my dear friend! You saved my life. I'm pretty sure it was by the deadly hospital protocol because the last time I spoke to him a few months ago, he was bitching about how the long-term care facility refused to let him go home after he recuperated from shoulder surgery. I called him a few weeks ago to give him the Hospital Hostage Hotline number- sadly, too late.
