Star Wars TLJ: Admiral Gender Studies vs Military Leadership

Amongst all the inconsistencies and other issues with Star Wars and the Last Jedi, it's interesting to consider how the 3rd or even 4th wave feminist leadership style of Admiral Holdo, aka "Admiral Gender Studies" contrasts with a better leadership style as seen and displayed in other films.

In this case in contrast to the leadership portrayal of General Roy Urquhart of the British Airborne division in Arnhem 1944 as played by Sean Connery in "A Bridge Too Far" (1977). A good classic WW2 film which is highly recommendable viewing.

Get Woke, Get Slaughtered...

In terms of the writing and directing, it is of note that the preoccupation - and even obsession - with inserting a "Woke" message has come at the expense of being consistent with in-universe lore
