Dylan LeClair makes the case that, besides the Halving around May of 2024, the SEC will likely approve the Bitcoin Spot ETFs between Oct 2023 and then. This will set in motion a snowball effect of price increases as supply of new Bitcoin is cut in half while at the same time demand for Bitcoin has never been higher.
The laws of 'Supply and Demand' will apply to the rarest asset on earth and the first Commodity of its kind: A 'Scarcity'. Bitcoin is the only asset known to man where demand cannot drive production of more supply. Supply is definitively capped at 21 Million Bitcoin. Over 19 Million have been mined thus far. The last coin will be mined around the year 2140.
Bitcoin is so scarce at its 21M coin cap, there is only enough for each person to own 0.0002 of a BTC. But with over 20%+ of the supply lost forever and approx. 4% lost each year, that number is dramatically lower. Owning 1/10th of a Bitcoin, approx. $2.7k worth today, will likely be incredibly valuable in the next few decades. If you don't understand Bitcoin or its value, your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren will. Bitcoin is generational wealth that you can personally control outside of government or financial institutions.
BlackRock and others financial institutions wanting to either custody, sell or create Spot ETFs of BTC has given Bitcoin legitimacy as a viable and crucial asset for investors. It is no longer niche nerd money. Once the Spot ETFs are approved, the liquid Bitcoin on Exchanges will be purchased at an enormous quantity and speed. Obtaining Bitcoin then will likely be impossible and/or prohibitively expensive.
