The Philadelphia Police Department and the Shooting Investigation Group is asking for the public’s assistance for information in reference to a shooting that occurred at 3707 Germantown Ave.

On May 12, 2023, a 32-year-old male was on the sidewalk of 3700 Germantown Ave with his infant son when approached by unknown black male. The two briefly exchanged words before the male fired six rounds from a semi-automatic firearm, striking the victim four times in the left leg. The victim was transported to the hospital and listed in critical condition.

Suspect Description: Black male, full beard, medium build, dark baseball cap, gray hoodie with large front logo, black pants.
