29 May 2021: Nick Patterson and his friends are harassed, stalked and then violently bashed by Victoria Police thugs. The harassment begins while the group quietly walk along the footpath near Flagstaff Gardens in Melbourne. While waiting at a pedestrian crossing, they are approached by Acting Sergeant M. Kohn who begins badgering the group. Nick clearly states he does not wish to engage with the police, but Kohn insists "Yeah, well, you will talk to us".
Similar to what later occurred with Melbourne political prisoner Monica Smit, Kohn addresses Nick by his name. This indicates Nick and his group were being monitored and targeted.
Kohn tells Nick he is not wearing a (useless) mask, then asks where he's from. Nick declines to provide his address. Kohn then tells Nick he's under arrest and tries to grab Nick's arm. "You're gonna tell me where you're from because I believe you're outside 5k", says Kohn. Nick correctly points out to Kohn that he cannot arrest people merely based on an assumption, that there must be reasonable grounds for that suspicion. Kohn does not present any reasonable grounds for his claims. He instead motions and calls for the dozens of surrounding police to form a cordon around Nick and his friends.
Kohn, like most police, exhibits a poor knowledge of the law. He appears lost for words as Nick recites applicable laws and Supreme and High Court case precedents that show what Kohn and his fellow goons are doing is unlawful.
All this police intimidation is supposedly to prevent transmission of COVID-19. But the video clearly shows the police completely ignoring social distancing guidelines. Increasing numbers gather around Nick and his group in close proximity. They either have a death wish or, more likely, know that COVID-19 is nowhere near as transmissible and deadly as they and their controllers claim.
Kohn is clearly out of his depth in the legal conversation, so an Inspector Justin Goldsmith eventually steps in and takes over. By this point there appears to be a hundred or more officers surrounding Nick and his small group. Goldsmith tells Nick "We are happy to arrest you if we have to, but we would prefer to give you the opportunity to leave now". After some to and fro Goldsmith steps aside as requested by Nick.
It's a small and temporary victory for civil rights but the jubilation is short-lived. VicPol are clearly seething at being outpointed by a group of unarmed civilians and begin plotting revenge. The plan is to mend their wounded egos and reassert dominance by following Nick and his friends as they leave, then ambush and assault them when the opportunity presents itself.
At 11:40 they begin physically accosting the group. The police force Nick and his friends onto the road, then start yelling at them to get off the road! Then - without provocation - they start pushing and shoving members of Nick's group, including female members.
Nick can be seen spreading his arms to defuse the situation and the group then continue to move away from the police. One of the goons can be seen shaking a can of pepper spray in readiness and smacking one of the group's cameras for no reason.
At 12:20 mounted officers join the stalking campaign. Nick and his friends cross Dudley Street and head away from the CBD. In other words, they are doing as the police instructed and leaving the area. But the police continue to stalk them and at 13:16 can be seen forming a cordon to try and block their forward movement. There can be no doubt by this point the police are doing everything they can to provoke a confrontation. Despite more pushing and shoving from the police, Nick's group successfully move around the cordon to continue their journey home.
At 13:20, Nick's group breaks up and you can hear Nick say goodbye to some of the others. The VicPol goons see Nick's group is now reduced in size and seize the opportunity to launch their attack. They rush across the road and and begin pushing and shoving one of Nick's friends who is slightly ahead of the rest of the group. One of the officers then punches the man square in the face (this is not clearly evident in the footage but is shown clearly in another video I have posted). Nick and his friends gallantly try to defend their friend but are greatly outnumbered and viciously set upon by the hordes of cowardly and heavily armed VicPol thugs. Even with their greater numbers, the cops still pepper spray the group in order to establish control. Nick sustains a dislocated shoulder during the incident and is arrested for assaulting police despite all footage of the incident leaving no doubt the police were the aggressors.
The mainstream media are allowed to take close up pictures, while police horses block Nick's group from filming. The truly rotten mainstream media publishes a carefully selected photo of Nick throwing a punch to give the impression he was the instigator.
