No one in the right mind can reasonably convince anyone that technology isn't necessary for humanity and its progress. In every aspect of life, technology has made life easier and more convenient. Technology is meant to liberate us, not enslave us.
The problem is the CENTRALIZATION of technology. That's the problem. Thanks to monopoly rights like patents and copyrights, a handful of individuals have become tech tyrants, and they now wield a monopoly over technology and science. All thanks to the centralized structure that you idiots allowed because you've been brainwashed at school into believing that patents and copyrights are a great thing for progress when they are cancer for progress.
Thanks to copyrights and patents, technology and innovation are centralized into the hands of the wealthy few who now enjoy all the profits and benefits.
This is the central problem. It's centralization.
The centralization of ANYTHING is ALWAYS NOT in your favor.

Whenever power or authority or industry is centralized in the hands of the few, you get tyranny and oppression. It's ALWAYS the outcome.
The centralization of power and authority into the hands of the few is tyranny by definition. The only solution to this tyranny is the decentralization of everything. Decentralization of decision-making, decentralization of authority, decentralization of technology, and the decentralization of the economy.
The abolishment of the capitalist economic tyranny is ONLY possible by abolishing monopoly rights (copyrights and patents).
