Top composers and orchestra directors world wide teach their young musical prodigies why they love Cuban music so much. Particularly in Japan, they literally believe to be the premier musical interpreters of Cuban syncopated rhythms; and as such, go through great pains to arrange difficult pieces like the one featured in this video. Proving the old adage: Music has no borders.
Give a warm welcome to Akira Miyagawas youth orchestra of Japan as they interpret "The Dueling No. 5's". Ludwig van Beethoven (late 1700's to early 1800's composer/musician) and Pérez Prado (1950's composer/musician creator of Mambo dance rhythm) would be extremely proud of Akira's arrangement, played by super talented 14-years-old musicians... way to go Japan!
I hope you enjoy their "mojito sound" and spread the love. You decide.
