Unlike in the rest of the world, in the United States life seems relatively normal. There have been far fewer punitive lock-downs and absurd mandates than in most other countries. Why is this? Being in the United States has prompted me to reflect on just how much freedom we have already lost in most of the world. How long can the USA hold on to the diminishing freedom it still has?
