When Will the End of the Age Come?

When will this age end? Did early Christians teach this age would end after 6,000 years to be replaced by the millennial Kingdom of God and the return of Jesus the Christ? When would the 6,000 years have begun with Adam and Eve? While most Jews say we are in year 5783 until September 2023, many Jewish scholars realize that the chronology is off by about two centuries.
