Welcome to "The New Adventures of Sid Canoe, the guy with the Utopian view", a unique live radio broadcast. Each week the show takes you on a new adventure through theater of the mind, visiting different places and ideas in a flying canoe. The show host, "Sid Canoe, the guy with the Utopian view" (real name Regan Balman a.k.a. "Octaman") offers a patient, sometimes whimsical delivery over roots reggae dub that pulses throughout the show with some comedy bits thrown in to keep the heavy subject matter light. The result is relaxing, informative and entertaining. We hear Homer Simpson calling it "infotainment", then a humorous clip from Gene Wilder may chime in. Sid Canoe's insightful narrative sounds lyrical over original dub music. It's biblical but not preachy, factual yet fun. Ride along in the flying canoe for another radio adventure!
