Trump Pushing for Gun Registration

President Trump has tweeted multiple ominous messages about expanding "background checks" this week. As any gun owner knows, "universal background checks" is a democrat euphemism for gun registration. If Trump does in fact sign this kind of legislation into law, he will be by far the worst President on the second amendment since Lyndon Johnson. By forcing gun owners to put themselves on a government registry, he is enabling politicians in the future to more easily confiscate guns. If this were a democrat president pushing this, there would be strong opposition. However, because Trump is for it, Republicans will happily pass it.
