Here's an example of WHAT I feed my dogs and WHY | Healthy dog food

Its such fun foraging for yourself and you animals - at this time of year there are so many wonderful herbs available for us - here I am using Nettles, Plantain and Dandelion Leaf as part of my dogs daily greens. Some of their key beneficial properties are:
Nettles: Highly nutritious and rich in calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, selenium, potassium, trace minerals, protein, vitamins A and C. They support the kidneys, liver and urinary function. They are also a natural anti-histamine. PLANTAIN: great for the urinary and digestive tracts. It has been known to be very helpful with parasites as well. It supports the nervous system by helping to repair any inflamed nerves.
It can be great for promoting healing in minor wounds and if you have access to fresh leaves, you can make a poultice that may help sores and insect bites or stings. It can help stop bleeding, ward off infection and reduce inflammation. DANDELION LEAVES: Dandelion leaf is a favourite for us humans and animals alike! Everyone’s favourite herb! Dandelions promote the liver and support its ability to produce bile. They also help your liver filter harmful chemicals out of your food, and support the kidneys. Dandelion also contains a rich amount of Vitamin C, which is good for your immune system.
