Here is another let's play video of OMSI 2 and I am using the 12 metre Leyland Olympian Alexander RH in the Citybus HK livery that is representing 331/FK5095. Now here is some interesting history about 331 as it has a unique history compared to the other batch and here is why. 331 was trailed in the UK and had a term with Capital Citybus and had the UK registration of J248WWK when it was used in East London and Corgi did release a model of this on the Route 248 to Cranham. Although the Corgi model was completely incorrect as 331 was built to a single door bus from new and was never a dual door bus.
This batch of Leyland Olympians were used by Citybus of Hong Kong on cross-border into China services as the interior was build to coach spec. Although the bus is assumed to be been scrapped from active service unless anyone has any updated information about 331.
That said. I am using this Leyland Olympian on the HK West Kowloon map working the 5A to Shing Tak Street from Star Ferry terminal or atleast that was the intent in this let's play. The outcome was very different to say the least as I messed up big time hence the title and I have added some humour into the end of the video as well. The Game Over screen is from one of my favourite classic video games and is used here in the video within the regulations as set out by YouTube and the creators.
I use the OMSI 2 Steam Edition of this bus simulator for my let's play videos although a lot of the add-on buses and maps I use for my let's play videos are freeware and are as far as I am aware, official public released add-ons as I do not use any "ripped" or "leaked" add-ons and I condemn such acts. At the end of the day it is all about common decency and respect for the creators and the community in my opinion.
