Doki Doki Literature Club Plus - Playthrough Part 4 (Trust and Respect Side Stories)

Completed the other two side stories revealing how Monika met the other members of her literature club. Sayori joined because she needed to share her poetry with somebody. The more I see of her, the more I think she's a reverse emotional vampire - she demands happiness from others while considering any worry of her as an affront. Despite that Monika showed her compassion and understanding. The other (chronologically 3rd) side story is how Natsuki joined the group. She was mocked for liking manga, but didn't join the anime club because she didn't like the boys there - talk about hypocrisy. When Monika shows the slightest bit of apprehension towards Natsuki reading manga in the club, she takes it as a personal attack and storms out. Monika being the bigger person reads some manga and learns to be more accepting and even offers a sweet apology by revealing to Natsuki her passion for playing the piano.It is hinted that Natsuki has some family issues, but I still consider her a cunt, so I don't particularly care.

The side stories do a really good job to make Monika a 3-dimensional character. She has flaws like being pedantic, overly ambitious and yet socially awkward and controlling. That being said she does her best to improve and is self-critical. Monika values the people who joined her club, which is why she didn't completely delete them despite thinking that they have no free will in the main game when her world was falling apart.
