ALCHEMY: THE HERMETIC PRINCIPLES

These are the philosophy behind how reality is manifested through the universe. It is simply the nature of things. There are Seven Principles, and each are what can bring manifestation into the Material Plane. This is how the universe and all of creation are described into the world we experience. Each principle describes the aspects of this.

PRINCIPLE OF MENTALISM: The All is Mind. The universe is mental. Consciousness is both matter and energy. Everything was created from a Source. This principle shows that Source is a guide to life through Natural Law. Mentalism is what one can see. It is what is manifested into the visual world as truth from what is in the unseen world.

PRINCIPLE OF CORRESPONDENCE: As Above, So Below; As Within, So Without; As the Universe, So the Soul. This is shown in the Microcosm and the Macrocosm of the Kabbalah. The Outer World reflects the Inner World. It relates to the Natural Law of the universe and how what we create can affect our objective reality and karma.

PRINCIPLE OF VIBRATION: Nothing rests; Everything moves; Everything vibrates. This is where reality can be changed by a state of mind. It describes how humanity in the aggregate has created this system we exist in within this realm. This has nothing to do with human emotions. This planet is on a low vibration through induced fear.

PRINCIPLE OF POLARITY: Everything is dual; Everything has poles. This is to know that opposites are the extremes of the same thing. Light and Dark are both energies. Not just what we can see, but at a quantum level too. Love and hate are emotions but vibrate at a high or low frequency within the human avatar, not from the Mind or Soul.

PRINCIPLE OF RHYTHM: Everything flows, out and in; Everything has its tides; All things rise and fall. This is the flow between poles. It is the idea that for every action, there is an opposite reaction. A prosperous person being poor for a time and vice versa. Letting life ‘flow’ can bring balance to its rhythm and can also relieve suffering.

PRINCIPLE OF CAUSALITY: Everything happens according to Natural Law. There are many planes of causation, but nothing escapes this Law. Chance is a term for unexplained effects. The key is to understand there are consequences for actions. Each person has individual responsibility for them. The universe tends to Equilibrium.

PRINCIPLE OF GENDER: Gender is in everything; Everything has its masculine and feminine principles. This applies to Mind, Body and Soul. Each being has a dominant amount of gender attributes and can seek to find balance by connecting with others. Gender requires connection which is stronger just like the opposites, ‘Yin and Yang’.
