A lot of awesome things happened in 1986. For one, Star Trek: TNG, and, for another, Castlevania was created. Granted, in the US, we had to wait until 1987 to play this, the greatest of all time of the Castlevania franchise, but it was well worth the wait. Vampire Killer is yet another video game soundtrack that, while we didn't know what its official title was, we heard it through many hours of game play that the piece has become so recognizable. Again, this remaster is in memory of such a great tune for such an awesome game. It also imagines what the piece might of sounded like with the much better synths and sound options we have today compared what the old NES used to have. Granted the old 8-bit attempts rock drums could be pretty cool at times.
I found this MIDI here: https://vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/nes/
The original composers for the song are Kinuyo Yamashita and Satoe Terashima.
