Sargeist - 02 - Heralding the Breath of the Pestilence (Demo)

Here is the second track of the Nockmaar demo by the Finnish black metal band Sargeist. The song is called Heralding the Breath of the Pestilence. Sargeist started in 1999 in Lappeenranta, Finland as a solo project of Shatraug, who was going under the name Lord Grimstein at the time. The band released this demo in 1999. In 2001, the band would get a second member going by the name Lord Volos and released a second and third demo entitled Heralding Breath of the PEstilence and Tyranny REturns. In 2002, the band would release a split with a band called Merrimack, and htey got signed to a label called Mortbund Records in 2003. They entered the studio and recorded their first album Satanic Black Devotion. The band is still active as of writing this, and their latest EP was released in 2019.
