It works. “The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society.” However, what he fails to mention is that our Founding Fathers never sought to create a democracy in the U.S. That word doesn’t appear in even one of our founding documents. To the Founders, democracy meant “mob rule.” Which increasingly is what we have... the Republic is falling, just as did Rome.
