There have been some issues with the Zarbees Natural product line since the recent purchase of the product by Johnson & Johnson. One parent reported finding Metal Flakes in her child's gummy vitamins, her toddler was hospitalized with metal flakes in her intestines. Another parent found odd looking flakes in her children's Zarbees cough medicine.

Johnson & Johnson has a long and bad reputation for having quality control issues which have caused billions in lawsuits and multiple recalls.
