Here is the first track of the Primal Scream demo by the Illinois based crossover thrash metal band Metal Onslaught. The song is called Hide Behind the Cross. Metal Onslaught formed in Elgin, Illinois in 1985. The band released this demo the following year and a follow up in 1987. They released their only EP Cease to Exist in 1987. That EP would be included as part of a split in 1989 with Morbid Visions by Sepultura. In 1988, the band would change their name to CArnage, and they would release two demos under this name in 1988 and 1989. After that, they changed their name again to Lost Soul but released nothing further.
