Nice sounding names are applied to activities or ideals that any sane person would find repulsive, and repeated infinitely until they become accepted as valid terms by most people, as a means to have them associated with things we deem good and righteous in order to regulate people's thoughts and feelings about those things.

Liberals, aka Leftist Communists use double speak constantly, here are a few examples:

Diversity (DIEversity) = Destroying white diversity and replacing it with non-white homogeneity.
