Colour footage, studio version of Burning of the Midnight Lamp

Promo video for a song that would not appear on an LP until Electric Ladyland was released in Oct 1968. The song was recorded around the time of the second LP, Axis: Bold As Love and released as a single in August 1967.

When Jimi was filmed there, the location was known as the Sans Souci Temple as the mansion had been bought by a spiritualist group. This promo video contains some shots not contained in the Valentino raw footage found in the next video.
