Animal rights activists from Direct Action Everywhere - DxE stormed a factory farm and slaughterhouse, locking their necks to the slaughter line to halt the killing of the animals in Petaluma, California on June 3rd, 2019. Upon locking themselves to the kill line, an employee reportedly turned the line back on, strangling activist Thomas Chiang who was then hospitalized and is now at home recovering.
