Joey Gibson on Portland Defunding Police/FBI joint task force

Joey Gibson on Portland City Council's recent decision to withdraw from joint task force under the advice of CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) and progressive activists. Interestingly, Portland Mayor Wheeler opposed the action despite active support for leftist activism in the city.

The withdrawal comes in a trend in cities such as San Francisco to withdraw from active enforcement of law within specific increments of disobedience.

Portland already has a history of introducing lawless elements into the community of Oregon: by opposing recently ICE actions in detaining pedophile rings as well as sabotaging ICE fascilities, migration crimes expanding beyond consequences of one city are continually being overlooked and unaddressed for the whole state.

As cities such as Portland try to become a Santuary city, they are in effect trying to inhibiting law enforcement equally across Oregon as they work to prevent them from securing some of the biggest spheres of Oregon life from illegal actions by increasingly pursuant illegal immigration.
