Duty to Honor the Saints

Every single Catholic has a sacred duty to honor and venerate the saints and to pray to them. Why? [1] Because of the honor that is due to the Divine Majesty. [2] Because we need help in our weakness. We can’t achieve salvation on our own, we need their intercession. [3] So that we may have the right models to imitate. [4] Because it is a concrete expression of the Communion of Saints. In Christ, we are truly united to the Church Triumphant. Let us make greater efforts to learn about the saints.
