Silly Woke Society The Lord of the Rings is about God, not intersectionality

The Tolkien Society goes woke. This year’s conference, to be held virtually via Zoom on July 3 and 4, is on the theme of “Tolkien and Diversity.” This year, seminar attendees will be subjected to something different. Papers to be presented include, “Gondor in Transition: A Brief Introduction to Transgender Realities in The Lord of the Rings,” “The Lossoth: Indigeneity, Identity, and Antiracism,” and “‘Something Mighty Queer’: Destabilizing Cishetero Amatonormativity in the Works of Tolkien.”

Of course the actual subject matter according the the author himself is God. In fact in his lore of the ancient world there are even prophecies of the coming of Christ. Not only does marriage last until death, for the firstborn marriage is considered eternal and can only be annulled in extraordinary circumstances that basically require the approval of God himself. In addition there are only two genders that are determined at the point of the creation of ones soul and these characteristics stay with one into the afterlife and beyond.
Put simply The Lord of the Rings is not woke and was never meant to be woke. It is a Christian reality that the Progressive left has been salivating at the opportunity to burn down and defile.
