US Advises Against Travel To 80% of Countries Around The World and Barbados is One of Them

22/04/2021 - The State Department on Monday urged Americans to reconsider any international travel they may have planned and said it would issue specific warnings not to visit roughly 80 percent of the world's countries due to risks from the coronavirus pandemic. As the US State Department updated its travel advisories this week, Barbados has been added to the 'Level 4: COVID-19 Very High' category which recommends no travel to the island. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade today condemned a Level-4 advisory issued by the United States against Barbados, saying it did not provide enough information for travelers to make an informed decision.
