Texas Republican Louis Gohmert delivers a Special Order Speech on the House floor, in which he criticizes the treatment of supporters of former President Trump by the FBI and the Justice Department as part if their investigation into the January 6 incident at the Capitol. Gohmert says the FBI raided the home of an Alaska couple, Paul and Marilyn Heuper, in April looking for an alleged laptop that was stolen from Speaker Pelosi's office on January 6th. The Heupers attended the rally on the Ellipse prior to the incident but have denied entering the Capitol that day. He says the couple was "so unfairly and unjustly treated" by law enforcement and that their home was ransacked, a minor was handcuffed. The congressman also accuses the Justice Department of targeting Republicans and conservatives and "criminalizing" political protest. And he goes on to dispute the nature of January 6th, saying, "There is no evidence this was an armed insurrection" and that no guns were seized that day.

Over 400 American's are facing charges (mostly trespassing) people unjustly caught up in this manhunt. Most have no criminal background, some vets, some former law enforcement officers. We thank Representative Gohmert for speaking up for these Patriots as 'political prisoners' and their families, experiencing oppressive weaponization of patriotism.
