The Bishop is supposed to provide an unselfish concern, care and devotion to his flock of sheep. A real bishop is supposed to provide teaching of the word according to God.

They are supposed to provide comfort during times of distress, and worry. A bishop is to help strengthen his flock especially during times of weakness. A real Bishop is a position that is called by God.
