Incubator For Chicken Eggs Installing Controls and Fans
Continuing the cabinet incubator build, we are putting the shield for the controls and attaching the controls to the side of the old refrigerator.
Phil used an old sheet of metal for it.
00:00 Intro
00:22 Cutting the metal for the controls to attach to
01:05 Busy road, sorry
02:10 Screw gun to attach the plate
02:20 Using things from other projects, the fridge itself he planned to fix
03:15 Nobody's perfect. Phil needed to change how he cut the metal.
03:45 Want to have a notch in the metal so you can run the wires through
04:40 We're only partially fastening the metal because there's more wires to run
05:05 Clay is a much better camera man than me, lol
05:20 When you know you have a great marriage... He always makes you laugh
05:30 Installing the fans from the IncuKit
06:50 Changing around the wires
07:30 Not sure where the probe should go, but we will also have backup Temp readers
07:50 Decided the wires would be better under the metal
08:10 Changed it so we have room for the egg turner control
08:35 You can take a piece of paper to mark your holes, but he's not right here
09:32 Need a screw small enough to fit in but big enough to lock in
10:10 Want to leave the screw sticking out enough to hang the control on
10:45 We have a timer to run the egg turners
10:55 We will do another video on installing the egg turners and setting up the controls. I'll put a card when that video is done
12:10 How many egg turners can the timer run?
14:00 What he still needs to get done
14:10 Making a cover for the controls
14:55 He's very careful of me, doesn't want me hurt
16:30 We have a cover, but he's not sure he likes it
16:50 Next step is the vents
