This is a cover of Leonard Cohen's "The Partisan", which is a translation and cover of the French song "La Complainte du Partisan" written about the French Resistance in World War II. The original song was written in 1943 by Anna Marly and Emmanuel d'Astier de la Vigerie and has been covered by many others including Joan Baez.

I apologise for my French accent - it's bad enough when I'm not concentrating on the guitar. My old French teacher would be loving this attempt, my old Music teacher not so much!

Recorded on the old faithful Yamaha CJ-818SB with a Blue Snowflake mic.
Standard tuning, capo on 3rd fret for the original key.
Accidentally flipped horizontally.
