Song celebrating the short time after the stock market crash of 1929. Things appeared to pick up again in 1930, what this song is all about. This is the same situation that is going on today with a fake stock market rally. Shortly after this time things went from bad to worse and stayed there for several more years. In contrast, the 1920-1921 depression, although severe, was short. The government did not intervene in this depression but did in the 1929 depression. This caused the 30's depression to last at least until WW2.
