ABERDEEN, Md. (WJZ) — An Aberdeen man is slowly recovering after being viciously attacked steps from his home this past weekend.
On Monday, Brian spoke with WJZ off camera but confirmed he was coming home from work at a nearby fast-food restaurant late Saturday when he was attacked.
Two suspects appear to approach him from both sides as one grabs a bag of fried chicken and the other launches a blow to the back of Brian’s head.
He tries to shield himself as the suspects unleash a barrage of kicks and punches.
A man who claimed to be the victim’s boyfriend said Brian’s injuries were severe and included a scratch to his eyeball.
Aberdeen Police said thanks to the surveillance video from a nearby business, they have made three arrests in the case, including the two suspects in the video.

CANAL WINCHESTER, Ohio — A 78-year-old Italian immigrant who has lived in Ohio since the 1970’s says he and his wife are traumatized, after a pair of strangers entered their home under false pretenses only to hold the couple at gunpoint and demand money.
According to a news release issued late Monday, Liberati and his wife were at home at 4:00pm on Saturday when a pair of girls rang the doorbell and asked to come inside to use the bathroom.
Liberati says he obliged out of neighborly hospitality, but the two girls were in the bathroom for almost ten minutes. When they emerged, police say, the girls brandished handguns and demanded cash and jewelry.
Liberati says one girl pointed her gun right at his chest. The couple had very little cash in the house, and Liberati says the girls only got away with about $14 from a purse. They ran around the corner, where Liberati believes they jumped in a waiting vehicle and got away.
Liberati’s 12-year-old grandson was in the house during the robbery, and was unharmed.
Columbus Police are still investigating. The suspects were described as two black females teenagers, both of skinny build and about 5'7" tall with curly black hair. One is described with a tattoo on her left shoulder; the other was wearing a green jacket with writing on it.
