Now, Luka Doncic has been spectacular, and is the front runner to win the Rookie of the Year award.Just 19 years old, Doncic leads the team in scoring with 19.5 points per game. But Ayton has been pretty good, too. He’s averaging 17 points and 11 rebounds per game. The Suns have not been as good as the Mavs, mired with the worst record in the league at 9-30. Despite many saying that Doncic was one of the best prospects in this or any draft over the last 20 years, the GMs might have been understandly gun shy While Doncic looks like he could be a generational talent and multiple-time all-star, he’s only halfway into his first NBA season. Only time will tell how this draft pans out.
