Two tracks from the STOLEN SLEEP CD 2009. Recorded at Inner-X-Studio.(11/08). The song "Kum Kleopatra Kum" has been about 3 different times and the Original has been remixed just as many times. Originally recorded in 1985 from the infamous SUBMIT TO DESIRE vinyl LP. This version iz electronic and crunchy. Not as smoothly produced as the original. This version is back to Industrial. I guess 2009 was a moody season for SleepChamber. As this CD of grave robbing while asleep is az moody as it gets.
Now INTO THE CRYPT iz almost getting back to THE LIGHT POURS OUT OV ME style. An erotic rocker where lead guitarist Gimme"Sparks slides down the neck of his guitar in a Middle Eastern style. And I could swear those might be real drums ?
All in all its a great comeback after a 4-5 year vacation. Makes me very interesting where they go from here.
