A mystery drama about a news reporter (Robert Armstrong) who begins a romance with a young lady (Maxine Doyle) shortly after arriving in St. Louis. But he is soon falsely accused of a robbery and murder. The only way to clear his name is to catch the real killer – a gangster known as The Eel.
