Sucharit Bhakdi ist ein deutscher Facharzt für Mikrobiologie und Infektionsepidemiologie. Er war bis zu seinem Ruhestand Professor an der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz und von 1991 bis 2012 Leiter des dortigen Instituts für Medizinische Mikrobiologie und Hygiene.
