Lenten Mission on Practicing for Heaven, Part 3: In the Company of Saints We Become Saints

Lessons learned in this conference: We need help in making it to heaven. We need the saints, even to be, as it were, already in their company in heaven. They will help us live rightly, virtuously, hate sin and error by looking up and starting in heaven, working backwards to this life to do the right thing. Thus, we will study to Know God, love God and serve God in this life, Whom we will see face to face in the next, by reading good books, dressing modestly at all times, speaking well to God in prayer and adoration, in fasting and not being sluggards, by humbly taking our place in the ordering established by God, ever seeking to obey our superiors in all things that are not sinful, while chastely awaiting the ecstasy of heaven. All this is done to be God’s instrument in working His marvels at this moment in time, making History for His greater honor and glory.
