Top Libertarian States, Part I

This is the first part in a three part series looking into a number of statistical categories in order to arrive at list of top libertarian and bottom (non-, un-, or anti-libertarian) states. Part I will take into account a variety of tax policies, fiscal policies, and other factors. Part II will take into account the Cato Institute's freedom rankings, public integrity, and corruption index ratings from other studies. Part III will take into account a couple of happiness ratings and healthiness ratings and then I present the top states but in no particular order. Finally I list the bottom states that are simply not good places to live for realizing libertarian desires.

Overall I take into account the fact that libertarians are often divided between left and right libertarianism. This generally means some would be more comfortable in a more socially liberal state whereas others would be more comfortable in socially conservative states.
