If you want your prayers to have force, then you must stop sinning and do what is equitably just. Do what is right! Many Christians today are in error of sins. They need to be converted and their sins stolen away, as Jacob says in chapter 5 (a.k.a. James 5). But righteousness is not a positional righteousness as Joseph Prince preaches. Otherwise, there would be no reason to single out Elias (Elijah) as a righteous man - compared to who? The letter is to Christians. So the contrast is to other Christians. Also those in err are "among you", meaning Christians too. If they are positionally righteous, how can they be "saved" from death? Positional righteousness does not allow for Christians to suffer death for their sins. Believe the BIBLE, not false teachers of lies, like Joseph Prince. Jesus saves you, not Mr. Prince. Therefore, believe and obey Jesus' teachings and the teachings of His Apostles.
