Why do I love Doctor Who? From time lords and regeneration, to the weeping angels and cracks in time, this show has become one of my favorites! Ever since watching Christopher Eccleston step on the screen as the Ninth Doctor, I watched in fascination as time was revealed to be a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff. I learned that the uses of a sonic screwdriver were many and almost limitless. I learned that if I saw a floating salt shaker, it most likely wanted to kill me, and many more things!
Watching this show made me think more about our vast universe. What secrets may lie on the edge of space, waiting to be discovered? How would it be possible to turn fat into living creatures? And why do the Ood speak in such an odd way?
Many things may still not be known, but this much is clear: for a show that has run for almost sixty years, it still manages to capture the imagination of those who watch it.
